Hayley earned her Bachelor of Nursing at La Trobe University and subsequently completed a graduate mental health nursing program at Goulburn Valley Health.

APPROACH

Hayley uses evidence-based approach to therapy, using modalities such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Mindfulness. Her focus is for individualised client care, where treatment is tailored specifically to the individuals’ needs and values to promote autonomy. Hayley also has a great depth of understanding and is passionate about medication’s and providing education to clients where applicable.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE

For the past three years Hayley has been working in acute mental health nursing working with clients from 18 years old upwards. Her experience includes both a bed-based acute mental health inpatient unit and psychogeriatric unit.
